Start the Fire Sale!!

Sometimes it is just a bad night but the Rangers performance against the Boston Bruins was an embarrassment to anyone associated with MSG. Although as a longtime Ranger fan I saw this coming, I was hoping it was not on a night I attended a contest. Taking my son to a Ranger game is a costly event with tickets, fees, LIRR fare, dinner, and snacks, etc approaching $500. . With that in mind, you would hope that there was some semblance of hockey being played by the Rangers but this was not the case. On the flip side the annoying 8 pm start for us fans riding the railroad was not an issue since we left at beginning of third period.. Do you really expect the average guy to spend exorbitant amounts of money to watch the hapless Knicks and Rangers? it's a shame.

Security nightmare

I would definitely not recommend going to another Ranger game to anyone ever again. Security was very rude they treat us like criminals they went through my son's backpack he is 35 years old and I am 61 years old they took a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that he had leftover from lunch out and made him throw it away it was totally outrageous and not to mention we missed the start of the hockey game because they could not move fast enough.. I am in the line of security work myself... no reason to treat people like that I understand the need for security security these days but there's no reason to treat people like this..

A great time!

I bought tickets for my daughter's birthday. She is a Rangers fan but never went to a live game, so we decided on going to the Rangers vs. Jets on April 19th. The whole experience was fun. First of all, the Rangers won so that made us happy. We had great seats in section 107, so our view was awesome. The entertainment in-between periods were fun too with air cannons shooting t-shirts into the crowd or coupons for Dunkin donuts falling from above. We were also surprised at how clean the rest rooms were. The attendants did a great job considering the sheer volume of people using them. Food and drinks are expensive, but you have to know that going into any major venue. We wish we could go to the playoffs now!!! Go Rangers!!!
